As the Chief Executive Officer of Akili Group, I have the privilege of leading an organization committed to creating sustainable solutions that improve lives while protecting the environment. My work is centered on a simple belief: lasting development happens when communities are equipped with the tools, knowledge and opportunities to become active participants in their own prosperity. Through Akili Group, I work alongside farmers, businesses, development partners and governments to build inclusive value chains that generate economic opportunity while addressing some of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.

Our work spans agriculture, climate action and community development through initiatives that restore ecosystems, strengthen livelihoods and promote sustainable enterprise. From mobilizing farmers to participate in afforestation and landscape restoration through the Misitu Project, to supporting collaborative programmes such as the Zinga Project and Entooma Sidai, we are continually developing practical solutions that create value for both people and the planet. These initiatives reflect our conviction that environmental stewardship and economic growth are not competing priorities—they are mutually reinforcing.
