Throughout my professional journey, I have been driven by a simple conviction: meaningful and lasting change begins by understanding systems, people, and the opportunities that connect them. Over the past three decades, I have worked across technology, public service, international development, and enterprise, seeking practical solutions to complex challenges. Whether designing ICT systems, reforming public institutions, studying the causes of rural poverty, or developing climate-smart agricultural initiatives, my work has always centered on creating lasting value that improves lives and strengthens communities.
These experiences have shaped my leadership philosophy and ultimately led to the founding of Akili Group in 2010. Today, my focus is on building inclusive agricultural value chains that restore ecosystems, improve rural livelihoods, and unlock sustainable economic opportunities through innovation, collaboration, and carbon finance. I believe that Africa's greatest opportunity lies in empowering its farmers, restoring its natural landscapes, and building partnerships that create shared prosperity for generations to come.--
